Fire Dues, Mobile home billing, and EMS billing

Fire Dues

Homes are billed through property taxes and are billed at a rate of 15 mils of  there assessed value. The assessed value is established by the Jefferson County Tax Assessor office with a  $100.00 minimum.



Mobile Home Billing

$100.00 Each

Bills are mailed out Oct. 31st each year and 

due by December 31st each year

If mobile home bills have to be rebilled due to lack of payment, an additional $25.00 charge will be added.

Assessment letter request should be emailed to Katie@mcadoryfire.com.  Any faxed requests will be returned via email if possible. There is a $30.00 charge for all letters. Please include complete property address, seller and purchaser information, or owner information if it is for a refinance.

Ordinance no. 2016- 001


The duty appointed members of the Board of Trustees of McAdory Area Fire District do hereby resolve and ordain the current service charge schedule be amended with the following schedule of service charges, and shall become effective May 1, 2016, or until amended in accordance with the law.


Fire Dues Improved Properties


  1. All commercial properties including churches and schools shall have a service charge of no more than seven and one - half (7.5) mills of its assessed value.
  2. All residential properties shall have a service charge of no more than fifteen (15) mills its assessed value or One - Hundred ($100.00) dollars, which ever is greater.

Fire Dues Mobile Homes


  1. Fire dues for mobile homes NOT assessed with the property, shall have a service charge of one - hundred ($100.00) dollars.
  2. Fire dues for mobile homes assessed with the property, shall have a service charge of no more than fifteen (15) mills of its assessed value or One - Hundred ($100.00) dollars, which ever is greater.

Fire Dues Un-Improved Properties


  1. All properties / parcels with an assessed value with NO improvements shall have a service charge of no more than fifteen (15) mills of its assessed value.
