McAdory Area Fire District

The McAdory Area Fire District covers an area of 46 square miles and responds to an average of 1200 calls for service each year. The Fire District provides both fire protection and ALS medical transport. We also provide non-emergency services such as pre-fire planning and Fire Prevention classes. McAdory Area Fire District is staffed with approximately 32 personnel and a compliment of volunteers, who staff two fire stations with 2 ALS Engine companies, 1 ALS medical transport unit, 1 75' Aerial and 1 2500 gallon water tender. Fire/Medics staff the department in 3 shifts, employees work 24 hour shifts each supervised by a shift officer. At McAdory, our Firefighter/Paramedics are dedicated to providing excellent firefighting and medical care. We achieve this goal by continually trying to improve our services with education and training.
